Sore Fingers

I am in awe of guitarists. We all have talents, but you people who can change chords and strum at the same time... well congratulations.

I've been getting sore fingers and baby calluses for the last few days playing worship songs and laughing lots with a great friend and complaining siblings. The best I can come up with is 'Smelly Cat' from FRIENDS. Yes, I can play it!! Move over Pheobe Buffay...

So I'm adding my first resource: 'Smelly Cat' tabs

E A D A E
Smelly Cat, Smelly Cat, What are they feeding you?

E A D A E
Smelly Cat, Smelly Cat, It's not Your Fault

Verse 1

E A
And they won't take you to the vet

D A E
You’re obviously not their favourite pet

Verse 2

E A
It may not be a bed of roses

D A E
And you’re no friend to those with noses

E A D A E
Smelly Cat, Smelly Cat, What are they feeding You?

E A D A E
Smelly Cat, Smelly Cat, It's not Your Fault

Number One

Hello fellow blog readers (I'm sure there's SO many of you out there already!!),

This is my first post ever. Welcome welcome!!

So I guess I should explain myself yeah? Since finishing school I've been bored out of my brain, as most young GAP year kids are. Searching for a decent job and adjusting to friends leaving hasn't been easy. And then getting over that... leads to routine. Oh dear, what a dreaded word.

EPIPHANY #1 (you'll come across many of these precious moments in time, I certainly have)

I'm there reading my Bible, Isaiah 8, just highlighting stuff that was relevant to me. And I came up with this, the solution to boredom...

"I will write these things as a testimony of what the LORD will do..." Isaiah 8:16 NLT

You could say I'm taking this out of context, but on many occasions God told people (kids, youth, adults and elderly) to write. That's what I'm doing here.

It's my prayer, as I dedicate this blog ONE CARAMEL MILKSHAKE as "... a testimony of what the LORD will do." That you will be inspired... from such ordinary things to perhaps even your own relationship with JESUS CHRIST. Feel free to comment or question any post, I would love to hear from readers!

Blessings, B
